Navina partners with agilon health to improve patient care with AI-powered insights
Navina, a leader in AI-powered value-based healthcare technology, today announced its strategic partnership with agilon health, inc., the trusted partner empowering physicians to transform health care in our communities. Through this collaboration, Navina’s AI engine is designed to integrate with agilon health’s existing technology-enabled platform, with the goal of improving efficiency and supporting value-based workflows for the more than 2,800 primary care physicians in agilon health’s network.
Navina's physician-first AI platform enables healthcare providers to gain a complete and accurate picture of patients' health by surfacing actionable insights based on clinical evidence from both structured and unstructured patient data. By improving clinical workflow efficiency and reducing manual work for care teams, Navina’s AI platform will support agilon health’s physician partners to maintain the highest standards of care for their Medicare patients.
“We are thrilled to partner with agilon health, a pioneer in full-risk, value-based care,” said Ronen Lavi, co-founder and CEO of Navina. “This partnership underscores our commitment to empowering providers to deliver preventive, proactive care to all patients while reducing their administrative burdens.”
Established in 2016, agilon health has deep expertise in full-risk, value-based care for Medicare Advantage and Fee-for-Service innovation models. Today, more than 30 physician groups and health systems are in long-term partnerships with agilon and have transitioned to full-risk for their Medicare patients through agilon health’s technology-enabled platform. As agilon health continues to expand its footprint, the seamless integration of a scalable AI engine into the company’s existing technology suite will provide comprehensive patient profile information and support value-based workflows that drive improved efficiency for physicians and their care teams.
“agilon health is committed to enabling our physician partners to deliver the best possible care to more than 650,000 senior patients in 30+ diverse communities,” said Karthik Rao, M.D., chief medical officer, agilon health. “Leveraging state-of-the-art AI technology like Navina’s within our technology-enabled platform is an important step in providing our physician partners with actionable insights that will help alleviate physician burden and improve patient outcomes.”
