Navina's AI-powered diagnosis insights - now within Epic
New York, NY, February 1, 2024 – Navina, the artificial intelligence (AI)-powered primary care platform that transforms complex, fragmented patient data into actionable insights at the point of care, today announced the launch of their platform within the Epic environment of NOMS Healthcare, a multi-specialty independent physician group and long-time Navina customer that recently transitioned from another EHR provider.
Navina is already integrated with multiple EHRs in the market today, and this new integration allows NOMS and other Epic customers to join the thousands of clinicians using Navina to quickly review their patients’ health status and take action – without leaving the EHR.
Josh Frederick, President and CEO of NOMS Healthcare, stated that “Navina has become an essential tool for our clinicians over the past two years. It helps us succeed as a value-based care leader, and has significantly boosted our team’s satisfaction and workflow efficiency. The seamless integration of AI insights within our EHR workflow has been key to Navina’s widespread adoption across our practices. We are pleased that Navina now integrates with Epic, allowing us to continue reaping the benefits we’ve experienced thus far.”
Navina’s advanced AI engine reads and interprets data from multiple sources, including claims, health information exchange (HIE), and unstructured data from within the EHR, to surface the most relevant patient insights at the point of care. Clinicians can easily review their patients’ condition and search documents right within the EHR. Diagnosis recommendations based on the full scope of patient data are presented within the Best Practice Advisory (BPA), along with a link to the source of evidence.
“This integration is pivotal in our ongoing efforts to support primary care clinicians in delivering exceptional, value-based care,” said Ronen Lavi, Co-Founder and CEO of Navina. "We take pride in our consistently high adoption rates, which reflect the trust and value clinicians place in our technology. Through this new integration, we look forward to expanding this impact on an even greater scale, making our AI-powered clinical intelligence accessible to thousands of clinicians nationwide.”
Navina works with physician groups, Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs), and health systems, with thousands of users across hundreds of clinics throughout the nation using Navina to enhance their clinical workflows and support their success with value-based payment models. On average, 86% of visits start with Navina, and 81% of Navina’s AI-powered recommendations are accepted by clinicians.
